In more recent years, photographers have normalized providing a wardrobe for clients. Part of that service is to be a benefit to you, the client, but also to the photographer as well. You see, not all things photograph well. And putting the pressure on a mom, who has a busy life, to put together outfits for an entire family, and know what will or will not truly photograph well is just not fair in my opinion. And if I want to be able to consistently deliver true artwork I love, part of that is keeping control over what is worn in sessions. For all members!
But really, the wardrobe kills two birds with one stone. Offering wardrobe for my families and having the expert eye on what will work well together, allows me to truly serve my clients, which is one of the pillars of my boutique business. When you book a session with me, you don’t have to worry about shopping for coordinating outfits for the family, scheduling hair and makeup for yourself, figuring out what location to meet at, or any of the other great big barriers there are to booking a photographer.
