We don’t realize when we are children ourselves, that we were watching our own parents growing up, just as they watched us grow up. Becoming a mother changes you in so many ways you can’t expect and we realize just how human our own mothers are. Just how confused and tired they were. Just how much they tried, just like you are right now. It’s a beautiful thing, motherhood.
Moms deserve the world for the work we do. Do something for yourself and your children. One day, too soon, they will be teenagers and moving out of the house. It happens so much faster than we think it will.
