It’s been some time since I shared some personal things, so I thought I’d take some time and put together a list of 10 things about me that you may not know!
- I love planners and pens. Seriously. I’m a paper & pen kinda girl. I spend a considerable amount of time finding the right planner. This year I’m so excited to be using Golden Coil. I like to see my whole week across 2 spreads and have things organized by the hour. In addition, I can add custom pages for my business as well as personal so that I only need 1 planner. Game changer. My go to pens are Tul and I’m loving the metallic colors right now.
- I love to read and I have about 20 some books on my list for this year. I have a kindle which is great for traveling but I definitely prefer to hold a book in my hands and lay in bed to read. I read mostly business, self help, biographies and some fiction.
- I’m addicted to The Crown on Netflix. I could lay in bed all night and watch it. It has become a nightly routine for my husband and I- he’s just as addicted as I am.
- I have to bribe my kids with toys to get ONE good picture of them. Yep, just because I’m a professional doesn’t mean my kids are always happy & excited to have their picture taken- I gotta work for it, lol!
- I’m an early riser. I would much rather get up at 5am than stay up to midnight. I love the quietness of the morning while I have my cup of coffee. It’s when I work best. Petite Magnolia Photography
- I never had a newborn session with my older son and I regret it terribly (more on that later).
- One of my goals for this year is meditation. I truly believe in the art of manifestation and putting the right vibes into universe to make things happen, along with a lot of hard work & determination.
- I’m an only child and always wished for a sibling… maybe that’s part of the reason why I had 4 kids.
- I’m just gonna say it- I love listening to Post Malone. It’s probably one of the most played artists on my phone. It’s what I listen to when I edit. I even downloaded the clean versions so I can listen while my kids are in the car.
- I’m a homebody. We would much rather order in for dinner, light a fire on our patio and watch the kids play in the yard than go out to a restaurant. we’re definitely on the Netflix & Chill team.
