+The Hatch- my kids still use one to this day (even my 10 year old!) It’s a great sound machine & nightlight. Love that I can use the app to customize settings for each of my kids. When my youngest went through a terrible 4 month sleep regression, the sleep consultant told us that white noise through the ENTIRE night was key… not just for the first 60-90 minutes.
+A good swing- a swing was a life saver for me. My younger daughter had an ear infection for basically 2 months straight until we were able to get a set of tubes in her ears. The only way she would sleep was inclined in that swing.
+Vibrating seat- I would bring the seat into the bathroom while I showered, outside on the patio, in the kitchen- wherever I needed to go.

+Trust your gut. You’ll get tons of advice, do what makes you feel most comfortable.
+Double make that crib! It will make life so much easier when you have a mess to clean up in the middle of the night. Here’s how I did it… waterproof mattress cover, waterproof pad, fitted sheet, waterproof pad, fitted sheet.
+My boys were notorious for leaking through their diapers at night. I would put a size 1 or size 2 diaper inside of their night time diaper as extra coverage (you might have to go up one size on your regular diaper to accomodate for the extra diaper). Worked like a charm!
