Without getting into the tiny details of chemistry and acid/base balance, the paper that your portraits are printed on make a big difference in their longevity. The structure of the paper and it’s pH will determine its longevity. Placing a print behind UV blocking glass or acrylic is also instrumental to its longevity. So even though I look for beautiful prints & frames that will create a stunning piece of artwork for your home, for me it goes much deeper. I want a product that is made to the highest standards and with the best quality. I do my research and read articles so that you can feel 100% confident that you’re investing in more than “just a printed picture” – your investing in your legacy.
