The first time you see that pink line… there are so many thoughts. If it’s your first, there’s all the emotions ranging from petrified to exhilarated. Heck, even if it’s your second, third, fourth, or beyond you may experience all of those same emotions! Adding another human to the world, taking care of raising a child and providing to the best of our abilities is a daunting task. For moms especially, we’re in a culture where motherhood=martyrdom and that just doesn’t need to be the case.
