As a mom of 4, these sessions are nearest and dearest to my heart. I love nothing more than watching a mama and her babies interact, snuggled up and loving on one another. I know all too well how much we prioritize the needs of these little beings that depends so much on us. I know all too well that our own well-being is sometimes the last thing on your mind. I know how exhausting it is, and understand that sometimes, you just have to get by and keep your head above water and that surviving the day is the goal.
I also know that when you see yourself in these images with your babies, you’re going to have an emotional reaction. There’s a moment during my ordering appointments where I see it on your face – YES you really look like that, YES you are beautiful, YES these babies adore you with their whole hearts. They don’t show it all the time, don’t we know that, but when you can take a step back and SEE the love in your son’s smile as he looks at you, or your daughters squinted eyes as she’s giggling next to you, it’s all worth it.
